Anti Human

from Filler by The Cassini Projekt

/

about

This song is inspired by Daft Punk's soundtrack for Tron and We are the Robots by Kraftwerk. I wanted to keep the guitars as functional and minimal as possible and to show off the full array of synths on this track. The lyrics are about being an efficient machine its evolution in addition to some references to the efficiency of human anatomy, eg the inter-relations between muscles in flexion and extension. The coda of the song is about wanting to exist in a computer world beyond the mundane which would be predicated on logic and fairness in contrast to the real world. It also entertains the possibility that humans for all their passions, interests, etc are really just biological robots.

lyrics

Thinking,

Doing,

Working,

Building,

Progress,

Complex,

Efficient Machina,

Thinking,

Doing ,

Raison D’etre

Flexing,

Extending,

Logic,

Knowledge

Cogs,

To make it run,

Cogs,

To make it turn

System Directive,

Autonomic reaction

A world beyond what they can see,

Waves clash and unify

We are robotic,

No one knows why

Why?!
